Every night, the lights are on at 110 2nd Street. Someone who was cold is warm. Someone who was hungry is fed. Someone who was told they were finished hears, maybe for the first time, that God has not forgotten them. That happens because people like you decided to give.
The Eureka Rescue Mission is a faith-based, non-profit ministry that has served Humboldt County since 1967, and we do not rely on government funding to keep our doors open. Every meal, every bed and every second chance is made possible by the generosity of our neighbors, churches and local businesses. When you give, you are not simply making a donation. You are opening the door for someone who has nowhere else to go.

A Hot Meal
Breakfast and dinner are served every day of the year to anyone who comes through our doors. Since 2007, together with our community, we have served more than two million meals.
A Safe Bed
Our Men’s Shelter and Women & Children’s Shelter give people a clean, sober and safe place to sleep: more than 715,000 nights of shelter since 2007.
Showers, Clothing and Care
A hot shower, clean clothes, a blanket and basic hygiene items restore a little dignity on the hardest days.
A New Life in Christ
Our free, year-long New Life Discipleship Programs for men and women help people break free from addiction, grow in faith, and prepare for work and a home of their own.
Mothers and Children
Women and children escaping homelessness or danger find a safe home, structure and support as they save their income and move toward permanent housing.
Our Whole Community
Holiday meals, food boxes for struggling families, toys at Christmas, and program members who serve and clean up our city all grow out of your generosity.
